As 2020 is pretty much, you know, cancelled, it’s looking like 2021 is going to be the year all your new favourite sneakers are dropping. So let’s take a look at all the sneakers dropping in 2021! Brand-new iterations of some of your favourite designs – from the Nike Air Force 1 to the Nike Dunk – have already been teased, so it’s time to get that wishlist together and start saving your pennies for the sneakers coming in 2021.
Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG ‘Metallic Silver’
Announced back in May, the Nike Air Jordan 1 Retro Silver is rumoured to drop in the early months of 2021. Metallic-silver panels adorn the upper and a jet-black Jordan Wings logo sits on the ankle to enhance the look. The toe box is notably missing the style’s signature breathable perforations and the brand’s legendary Jumpman logo features only on the midsole rather than in the tongue.
Pastel Nike Dunk Lows
The release we’re looking forward to the most is the pastel Nike Dunk Low drop. Releasing in a line-up of pastel hues including ‘White/Photon Dust’, ‘Sail/Crimson Tint’ and ‘White/Grey’, we want to add each and every one of these sneaks to our collection! The pretty pink offers up serious springtime vibes and the pastel green iterations are just made for those summertime events! We reckon these will drop in spring 2021, but an official release date hasn’t been announced for the Pastel Dunk Lows just get.
Nike Air Force 1 ‘Valentine’s Day 2021’
We know, it’s way too early to be thinking about Valentine’s Day, but hey! Nike doesn’t GAF about the rules. Just this week, images of the 2021 Valentine’s Nike Air Force 1 were unveiled, and it looks like next year’s V-Day is going to be all about pink and red. The images showed a classic AF1 with pastel pink panels and bold red Swooshes on the sides, toe box and heel. Here at The Sole Womens we love everything and anything pink, so we cannot wait to get our hands on these!
OVO x Nike Air Force 1
Another AF1 that’s set to launch next year is the hotly anticipated OVO x Nike Air Force 1. Designed in collaboration with Drizzy Drake himself, this sneaker is being kept super hush hush, so we don’t know anything about it yet – including what it’ll look like or when it’ll drop. But we can safely assume that somewhere on the sneaker, Drake’s OVO Owl logo will make an appearance. We’re super excited to hear more about this release and, obviously, we’ll let you know as soon as we hear more!
Air Jordan 1 High ‘Court Purple’
Set to launch next April, the Nike Air Jordan 1 High Court Purple features the same crowd-favourite metallic purple accents we saw on this year’s Jordan 4 ‘Metallic Purple’. A retro silhouette with endless styling potential, the hits of bold colour on this sneak will ensure it sells out before you can say “Jumpman”.
Nike Air Force 1 ‘Raygun’
Yep, ANOTHER Air Force 1. The Nike Air Force 1 ‘Raygun’ is rumoured to drop in 2021 and it’s inspired by 2005’s classic Nike SB Dunk Low. No official imagery of the sneaker have been unveiled yet but the mock-ups show a sleek black sneak that’s accented with bold orange and yellow panels and an embroidered graphic on the heel.
Nike Dunk Low ‘Free 99’
Another Nike Dunk that’s poised and ready for a 2021 launch, the ‘Free 99’ collection takes unique fabrics, bright colours and instantly recognisable details and adds them to the iconic Dunk silhouette. It seems the Dunk is getting tonnes of creative makeovers in the future and we can’t wait to see some official imagery of this one to see how the fluffy insole pops!
Nike Air Jordan 5 ‘Anthracite’
The Air Jordan 5 ‘Anthracite’ colourway is due to drop in early 2021 and quite frankly we can’t wait. While there are still quite a few Jordan releases to look forward to in 2020 – like the Off-White x Air Jordan 4 – 2021 is also set to be filled with new covetable colourways that belong in your collection. We’re still awaiting a secure date and some on-foot pictures, but we’ll share all the info as soon as we have it!
Women’s Nike Dunk High
It seems that the pastel Nike Dunk Lows aren’t the only fire Dunks dropping next year, as these women’s-exclusive Dunk High Tops are set to drop in 2021 and you can expect baby blue, pastel pink, mustard yellow and clean maroon to all fight for a spot in your collection.
As more and more sneakers are set up for their 2021 debut, we’ll be adding to the list so you know exactly what’s on the way! So, as always, keep it locked into The Sole Womens to be the first to know about more 2021 drops, restocks and news.
