Grid colourways take over the sporty silhouette
The Nike React Element 55 is back in two new colourways. The Navy and Platinum White additions to the React Element 55 bring a utility feel to Nike’s popular silhouette.
Following the huge popularity of the deconstructed aesthetic that took over in 2o18, Nike returns with a utilitarian twist to the already futuristic design. The upcoming releases also offer solid colour selection for those who weren’t fans of the translucent upper of 2018’s Element 87s. This grid design follows the size? exclusive release, but these colourways are just a little more striking.
Grid Navy features light beige grid that sits on a deep green elasticated upper. Black laces snake through black suede eyelets, which show Volt coloured embroidered stitching. A light brown eyestay and diagonal heel counter strip mark a contrast between these darker colours, which dominate the shoe. The silhouette is topped off with the classic Swoosh, which for this colourway, is in a slightly metallic bronze colour and dips right down to the black midsole.
If navy isn’t your thing, Platinum White might take your fancy. Here, space grey dominates the upper, with an even lighter shade used to create the grid pattern. Grey laces offset grey-toned eyelets to contrast against the neon orange embroidery. This neon orange accent is also seen in the heel tab and Nike React-branded tongue. Again, a low slung light grey Swoosh dominates the upper, all sitting atop a white and grey notched midsole.
Designed for ultimate comfort and style, the unique React foam midsole cushions the foot with every step.
Both models feature a Mini Swoosh to the heel counter and rubber ‘Nike React’ branding just below.
These colourways will be available on the 17th January, so make sure you stay tuned to The Sole Womens, where we’ll have a list of stockists.
