Rumours that the Yeezy NSLTD BT “Triple Black” is reflective look to have been proven right, as rapper Offset took to Instagram to tease a pair during a snowy photo shoot this week. Last spotted out late last year on the feet of Ye himself, the chunky black NSLTD Boot follows the earlier “Khaki” iteration that dropped as a US-exclusive last year.
Arriving in a much more wearable shade than their predecessor, this pair is decked out in a stealthy “Triple Black” colourway that covers everything from the Foam RNNR-inspired exoskeleton to the puffy quilted upper. Cut the lights and you’ll still be able to flex the "Triple Black" NSLTD Boot in the dark, as it looks like the entirety of the upper is coated in 3M, a feature we didn’t see on the aforementioned “Khaki” pair. Underfoot, the skeletal cut-out midsole gives way to an outsole that boasts exaggerated traction, which we’re sure came in very handy during this snowy shoot.
At the moment, not much else is known about the “Triple Black” NSLTD BT, and even Ye himself seems to have switched his preference to boots made by Balenciaga or Redwing. We’re sure that the pair will more than likely drop when team Yeezy are ready, and hopefully this time we’ll be seeing a global release. Up next, a new Yeezy 450 colourway is on the way, and this one comes with a twist.
