If you think about what a retro runner is, this might be what you imagine. On the 14th March at 8am GMT, you will be able to cop the new Nike P-6000 in ‘Striking Style’, this retro mixed with contemporary silhouette will be making you look from the past and the future at the same time.
A combination of mesh, leather overlays and a whole lot of complex design creates this sneaker, in a cool silver, red and black colourway.
A classic lace unit brings these sneakers right back to the 90’s in a style that is famously seen on old school gym sneakers and runners, highlighted with a complementing grey and white colourway.
The bold areas on the sneakers are highlighted in red, where the branding has claimed the colour. These red details can be seen on the toe box, tongue and both sidewalls where large Swooshes dominate the shoes, outlined in embroidered gold thread. A very small Swoosh can also be seen on the heel, above dotted grey detailing.
The midsole shows a layered style, with lines travelling horizontally and vertically, extending the height of it and adding to the complexity of the Nike P-6000. Finished off with a black outsole and a red panel to the heel, working in unison with the rest of the silhouette.
