The designs get even wilder
From the Nike Air Max 720 Pink Sea, to the Nike Air Max 98 Premium Animal Print, the Swoosh brand has never let us down when it comes to creativity, colourways, and silhouette development. The upcoming Women’s exclusive summer collection doesn’t disappoint.
Nike Women’s summer collection takes inspiration from high fashion design, with all of the silhouettes having a futuristic edge to them. From neon tints, to crystals, to exaggerated Air Sole Units, Nike is pushing the boundaries with these designs and we can’t wait to style them up for summer 2019.
The collection consists of over 10 silhouettes, each with its own personality and design inspiration. Take a look at a sneak preview of each silhouette below…
Nike Women’s Summer 2019 ZoomX Vista Grind
This silhouette ties in the best trending design elements of the moment with some of Nike’s most popular features. It features an exaggerated cut-out chunky white midsole below, with a deconstructed neon green, translucent upper which is reminiscent of the ever popular Nike React Element 87.
Nike Women’s Summer 2019 Air Max FF 720
Extra chunky, extra stacked… just extra in all aspects. Featuring a HUGE full length transparent Air Sole unit and a tonal white leather upper with cut outs to boot, this is one for those of you who can’t quite bare to swap your sneakers for sandals this summer.
Nike Women’s Summer 2019 VaporMax 2 Random
Who doesn’t love a VaporMax. The stretch upper of these has been drenched in neon yellow and a fluorescent orange Swoosh, complete with a translucent Air VaporMax Sole Unit for that über futuristic feel.
Nike Women’s Summer 2019 VaporMax 2 Random 2
Nike couldn’t make up its mind with the VaporMaxes. So much so that it’s releasing 2 in its summer collection. This time, we get lots more colour – from blue, to pink, to red, to orange, with a reinforced heel counter and mudguard.
Both of the VaporMaxes in this collection are sustainable too! They’re fashioned from leftover Flyknit textile that would otherwise have been thrown away, and the Air Sole is 75% recycled, too. Kudos!
Nike Women’s Summer 2019 Air Max Box
Featuring a standout Air Sole unit at the rear that reminds us of the Nike air Max 270, the upper of this one takes on a chic monochromatic approach. The high top design gives stability and comfort and they’re specifically designed for boxing workouts.
Nike Women’s Summer 2019 VaporMax Flyknit 2 LXX Swarovski
Bringing a touch of glamour… and more neon, Nike has teamed up with Swarovski for these. A blindingly bright lime green upper has been decked out with Swarovski crystals and an embroidered mini Swoosh. Another show stopping piece.
Nike Women’s Summer 2019 Air Max 98
Air Max 98s blew up in 2018 and continue to into 2019. We’re loving the mixture of texture and nude tones on this they’re super chic and understated. You’ll definitely get your wear out of these, even beyond the summer months.
Nike Women’s Summer 2019 Presto
Looking for something out of this world? These Prestos fuse a futuristic silhouette shape and detailing with alien-like colours, and those coloured notches in the midsole that we’re used to seeing in the Nike React Element 55s.
Nike Women’s Summer 2019 Shox Gold
Remember Shox? Love them or hate them, they’re trying to make a comeback. These rose gold beauaties are retro, yet still futuristic. We’re loving how the smooth gold upper contrasts with the perforated cut out sections at the toe and the rear. And those springs – you’re definitely going to feel comfy running around in these all day!
Nike Women’s Summer 2019 Air Max Plus
Giving us more futuristic, deconstructed vibes, these TNs are an everyday sneaker. Featuring a speckled patterned upper, which is covered by a translucent layer, these are rough and ready to go.
And that’s not it. The Nike Air Max Dia, The Nike Zoom, and the Nike React Element 55 have all been given summer worthy makeovers. Bright colours, contrasting textiles and textures, and elevated design aspects that are bursting with creativity.
We’re drooling over these upcoming releases. Let us know in the comments or on our socials which ones you hope to get your hands on and how you’ll be styling them. There’s no fixed release date for the Nike Women’s Summer 2019 collection yet…. so keep it locked to The Sole Womens for updates on when they drop!
