Designed by women, for women
Designed by four female employees of Nike, the Nike Air Max Dia is definitely one for the girls., Here at The Sole Womens, we love their mix of a modern design aesthetic with their practical, sporty edge.
They’re minimalistic, sleek, yet still futuristic – and we just love that they’re a women’s exclusive shoe so there’s no doubt that you’ll be able to find a colourway in your size.
One of our personal faves is the Summit White/ Oxygen Purple colourway. It has a crisp white upper, with subtle lilac hits of colour on the details. The mini Swoosh near the heel, the eyelets, the tongue and heel labels, and of course – the translucent Air Max Sole Unit at the heel.
The Plum Chalk / Black / Summit White is another colourway we’re crushing over. They’re pink – but the minimalistic, futuristic 2000s vibe of the silhouette stops it looking too girly.
Their deconstructed look comes from the translucent Nexkin upper – reminiscent of the Nike React Element 87 – which means you can show off you personality through your socks!
They’re super versatile. We’ll be styling them with raw hem skinny jeans and an oversized crop sweater for sporty 00s feels all round. They’re creafed
And while we love the white and pink versions, the OG colourway – Pale Ivory / Black / Summit White – comes out on top for us. It’s just something about the contrasting tones that make them edgy, sporty, and super futuristic.
Nike Air Max Dia Pale Ivory / Black / Summit White | Available at Foot Asylum
We can’t wait to style them with baggy cargos, floaty midi skirts, dungarees – they’re going to go with pretty much any fit. For extra Y2K points, make sure you add super skinny shades and a mini handbag for the full blown look.
If you haven’t copped – why haven’t you! This silhouette feels like it’s going to become a collectors Air Max piece and we don’t expect them to stay in full stock for long – cop now from Foot Asylum.
Make sure to tag us in your fit pics and show us how you’re styling these beauties – we’d love to see. In the meantime, keep it locked to The Sole Womens for more of the latest breaking sneaker news and style guides.
